About Off Site Protection

R. Lewis and Co UK Limited offer a range of passive fire protection disciplines that include both on and off- site coating fire protection for structural steelwork and other specialist component applications to include treatments to timber fire doors, fabrics for the construction industry and private sectors.

Off -site coating processes are often the solution for clients with exacting specifications and time constraints and where previously these key factors frequently become the overriding issues when spraying is attempted in situ during the construction phases.

Our Facility

Our Llandough base is well served by a team of NACE certified personnel further supported by industry approved applicators and skilled workers. With large laydown, storage and off-site work areas totalling 3500 m2, projects including single component hydrocarbon and fuel fire protection with the capacity for 5000m2 of structural steelwork cellulosic fire protection can be completed.

With both single leg and plural spray equipment available to meet our customer’s needs we can prepare and apply multiple coats of industrial materials to include intumescent, epoxy and decorative systems in controlled environmental conditions with accuracy and speed.
